The History of Burnt Store Lakes

Burnt Store Lakes was originally established in September of 1972. Construction didn’t begin until the early 1980’s when the roads and sewers were constructed. The first home was built in 1982 but it wasn’t until 10 years later, in 1992, that the POA took over management of the property.

Burnt Store Lakes currently features more than 456 completed single family homes and 7 complete condo buildings totaling almost 90 units. The entire community has the capacity to hold up to 1,860 homes and 170 condominium buildings.
